| Preparations for Saturday Meets |

| Friday Nights |
Place important items in your bag, i.e. socks, extra shirt, extra shoes, warm ups and monry for lunch. |
|
Have your uniform laid out and ready to put on. |
|
Check spikes if needed. |
|
Have water bottle out. |
|
Check to see if necessary breakfast items are available in the house. |
|
Check with your ride or riders so everyone is ready to leave the house on time. |
|
Hydrate all day long with water |
|
Get to bed at a reasonable time: doesn't need to be early but not much later than a weekday either. |
|
|
|
|
| Saturday Morning |
Get up at least 30 minutes before the bus leaves to eat, shower etc. |
|
Eat a good breakfast at home |
|
|
No greasy foods like fried bacon or gravy |
|
|
|
Avoid foods with high sugar content |
|
|
|
No eggs: cause gas due to sulfur and uncomfortable bus rides for others |
|
|
|
No orange juice: too acid |
|
|
|
Toast or bagel with little jam is good |
|
|
|
Cereal with not too much milk is good |
|
|
|
Water or tea or powerade type drinks is good |
