Peoria Invitational

The Peoria Invitational is also great meet if you're looking for good competition. With mostly AA abd AAA schools present, (in fact, Tremont was 1 of 2 single A schools represented) the Peoria Invite hosted 52 schools from around the State.. The weather was near perfect for running and many from our team had their personal best times of the season. The course was at Detweiller Park which provided another great tune up for the State Meet. Congratulations Turks!

Dunlap Invitational

The Dunlap Invitational is a great meet if you're looking for good competition. With several AA schools present, the Dunlap Invite challenges the Turks against some of the best competition. Some noteable performances include Parker winning among the A schools and 2nd overall, Chris ran a great race with a time of (?), Cole won the boys open race, Jamee and Hannah finished 5th and 9th respectively. As a team, the guys finished 5th and the girls finished 5th. Congratulations Turks!

Woodruff Invitational

Today's meet was a classic Cross Country meet: overcast skys, off and on rain, lots of mud and great competition! The race at Detweiller was fun to watch and looked fun to run. The results are available here. In the mean time, enjoy some highlights from Detweiller.

Rochester Invitational
Today, September 6, 2008 was the first trip the Turks made to the Rochester Invite. What an impact Tremont had too! The girls team placed 3rd, with two athletes, Jamee and Hannah in the top 10 (3rd and 9th), while the biys team finished 2nd overall. Parker also set a new course record. Way to go Parker! Congratulations to all the runners. Great job!.

Home Classic
This was our first home meet in several years. Who knows - it may turn into a classic! The weather was classic on Tuesday with highs in the 90's. The Turks battled the heat and finished with great performances.
